Pat Barry vs. Shane Del Rosario set for TUF 16 Finale | UFC News
A heavyweight match-up between Pat Barry (7-5 MMA, 4-5 UFC) and Shane Del Rosario (11-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) has been scheduled for the TUF 16 Finale on December the 15th.
Both fighters are looking to rebound from devastating stoppage defeats. Pat Barry in particular finds himself in desperate need of a win. This after losing 3 of his past 4 fights, his last being a KO loss at the hands of Lavar Johnson at UFC on Fox 3 in May. Previous to the Johnson loss, Barry was coming off the heels of a “fight of the night” KO victory over Christian Morecraft in January.
Del Rosario made his UFC debut in May, this after going 3-0 in Strikeforce with all three victories coming by way of stoppage in the first round. Unfortunately for Shane, his octagon debut at UFC 146 resulted in a second round TKO loss to Stipe Miocic. The loss to Miocic served as the first in the career of Del Rosario, who had started off 11-0.
The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 16 Finale takes place live from The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Saturday December 15, 2012.

I like when the coaches fight on the TUF finale card. I didn’t like when you had to wait months after the TUF finale to see the coaches fight.
Very Good Fight, Cant Wait.
Lets go pat berry! I wish he would drop down to 205 tho!
True that, he’s far too small for HW. I’m sure he could make 205 if he took a little time out to cut some bulk…
easy fight for Del Rosario, he´s got great BBJJ, he easly defeat Lavar, who destroyed Barry. I like Barry, but he should drop to 205 to be success!!
+1 and Del Rosario is the more decorated striker as well…
