Pat Barry and Shawn Jordan Verbally Agreed to Fight | UFC NEWS

Heavyweights Pat Barry and Shawn Jordan verbally agreed to brawl this May for the UFC. Damon Martin from Bleacher Report tweeted about the match-up today.
Barry (8-5), who is inconsistent in the UFC, is coming off a win from The Ultimate Fighter 16 Finale last December. In 26 seconds of the second round, he defeated Shane del Rosario via knockout. If Barry wins this fight, this will be his first back-to-back win since 2008.
Jordan (14-4) also won his last fight. He beat Mike Russow via technical knock with punches and elbows at 3 minutes and 48 seconds of the second round last month at UFC on Fox 6: Johnson vs. Dodson.
Although there isn’t a specific date for this fight, the UFC has two events slated in May. UFC on FX 8: Belfort vs. Rockhold is scheduled for May 18 in Brazil and UFC 160: Velasquez vs. Silva II is set a week later in Las Vegas, Nev.
