Palhares: ‘NSAC can test me whenever they want’

“I think it’s a good opportunity to prove I’m completely clean. I’m actually happy about that. It takes a whole lot of trouble out of my way. I’m clean – they can test me whenever they want, and nothing’s going to happen.”

“I’m not upset at all. There’s positive and negatives. I get to adapt earlier. I’m sleeping well because there is always a lot of jetlag.”

In a recent interview with MMAJunkie.com, this weekend’s WSOF Headliner, Rousimar Palhares, discussed the benefits of being put under the microscope for his return to Las Vegas.

Palhares has been popped for banned substances in the past and a more thorough screening process in Nevada is standard for prior abusers.

Rousimar fights Steve Carl this weekend for the WSOF welterweight world title.
