Pague vs. Papazian Added To UFC on FX 3

- Jared Papazian

A bantamweight bout has been added to the UFC’s third trip to FUEL TV in the form of Dustin Pague vs. Jared Papazian.

UFC officials announced the matchup yesterday afternoon.

UFC on FX 3 is tentatively scheduled for June 8, but a location and venue have yet to be revealed by company officials.

A semifinalist on “The Ultimate Fighter” season 14, Pague last saw action last June against John Albert while taking part on the show’s live finale event. He was unable to secure a win in his first UFC outing and got dominated by Albert in route to a TKO loss. The defeat snapped his five-fight win streak.

Papazian originally entered the UFC on the heels on an 8-1 run. However upon entering the promotion as a last minute replacement he got put up against the very tough Mike Easton at UFC on FX 1. In a very gutsy and closely contested bout he was unsuccessful and lost via majority decision.

  1. No Offense Dustin says:

Just saying, Why does Dustin Pague get a shot in the UFC again but not Din Thomas? Din brutalized that poor kid… Why doesn’t DT get any love?

  2. Your Daddy says:

Hi Din, lol wasn’t that fight stopped ONLY because of a cut and Din didn’t want to trade?
