Overeem vs. Lesnar For Number One Contender Say The Reem: Ready to kick Brocks A$#

“The winner of the fight between me and Brock [Lesnar] will fight the winner of Cain [Velasquez] and [Junior] dos Santos. You know what? I’m going to be bold. I’m going to kick that guy’s (Lesnar’s) ass.”

During the latest edition of Ariel Helwani’s MMA Hour, Alistair Overeem spoke out about his fight at UFC 141 with Brock Lesnar and the implications of a win.

The K-1 Grand Prix champ, the Dream HW champ and the Strikeforce HW champ, Alistair Overeem has much to prove in his five round bout with the former UFC champion, Brock Lesnar.

Should he fail to beat the returning beast that is Brock Lesnar than all the accolades he has collected outside of the UFC start to diminish in value.

Will he actually “kick Lesnar’s ass”? I don’t know but my gut tells me yes…

  1. T.DADDY says:

dont count ur chickens before they hatch…

JUNKIE IS A LIL BIZNITCH!! FUKKN COWARD AZZ PUSSYYYY

    • mmaislandjunkie says:

did u buy the anal cream at walmart yet tbaggy?? cuz u and i and the rest of the world knows brock will need it once again after he gets his ass BEAT.

      • Fortyb4five says:

lol dude quit hating on Lesnar just cause you hate TDaddy lol Lesnar is gonna expose Allistair for what he is. A can crusher.

        • mmaislandjunkie says:

lesnar is a beast when everything goes his way but if he cant get the takedown he cant get the win.

        • Mike says:

Allistair is a can crusher. Lesnar doesn’t know how to take a punch. Stylewise, I’d be crazy to give it to Lesnar, but it’s all dependent on Allistair’s TDD.

        • Xaninho says:

A can crusher? Yeah I suppose the WWE champ has proven he can win real fights huh?

        • Mike says:

Not to defend Lesnar, but he has beaten Couture and Mir. I think Lesnar was the most overhyped fighter in UFC history, but those two wins were impressive. As was the beating he took from Carwin and survived.

All that said, Allistair’s TDD is all that matters this fight. Though he could end up with a submission even if it does go to the ground.

  2. Dosan says:

I hope he put in more work in his take down defense.

  3. Chartmonster says:

Reem is going to look huge compared to Brock..the brother can swing them hammers!

  4. Kevin a says:

Lesnar is WAY bigger than overeem…….he walks around at 290-295……

    • Beto says:

Not any more. He used to. Now he walks around at about 260 -270. Diverticulitis made him lose a lot of weight

      • Mike says:

He def looks smaller but still a big boy. I’d like to see Reem do well, I think a fight between him and either Cain or Dos Santos woould be a lot better than a fight with Brock….Brock will just shoot in on him, Reem is too dangerous in the stand up I just hope he catches him coming in or defends the takedown.

  5. Joe says:

lmao if you think brock is bigger, then you will all be surprises come fight night.

  6. Fe says:

If Brock loses, which there’s a chance he might. It will be due to his lack of progressing his stand up game. Also Brock has fought great strikers (mir & Carwin) and did what he had to do to win, but Reem has incredible stand up game, and knowing that Brock has wicked take downs. Will probably prepare for them. This will be a great fight. Reem heavy bomb droppin striker vs Brock the astronomic power mauler grapller

  7. Karl says:

Neither of them stands a chance against Cain and JDS.

  8. bizzle says:

The dutch can crusher is going down.. :)
