Overeem: Bigfoot Will Be Just Another Statistic | UFC NEWS
“I know I am a better fighter. The fight will probably end in one or two rounds. I’m going to raise my hands after and he’s just going to be a number on my list, a statistic. I want to finish him the first round. I have the power to knock ‘Bigfoot’ out for a long, long time. I expect ‘Bigfoot’ to try and take this fight to the ground. I believe I have the advantage if the fight goes to the ground. I am better in the stand-up, I’m better on the ground and I have more knockout wins, more submission wins. I am better in every aspect and I’m going to show that February 2nd in Vegas.”
Former STRIKEFORCE heavyweight champ Alistair Overeem is confident he’ll have no trouble dispatching Antonio Silva at UFC 156, and earning a shot at the UFC heavyweight crown.

In my opinion, Dana should be ashamed for even allowing this arrogant steroid using fool to step foot in the Octagon. It sets a poor example for the sport and rewards those who cheat. One strike and he should’ve been out. There are fighters who are doing things the right way and who would die for a chance to be in the Octagon and you have this idiot who got busted and had a small suspension and now gets to come back and compete. That sets a poor example for the UfC and most importantly, the sport. Pathetic. I cannot stand this clown.
Just shut up
i dont really care for overeem he is arrogant, and cocky…. but i do believe he will steam roll bigFACE, i hope they make the match up with JDS and overeem after that!
Funny because Overeem never tested positive for anything. He may have used steroids on his way up to HW, but it’s pretty clear to me that he hasn’t used it for multiple years now, considering the testing he’s had in America. BTW Overeem is class, he’s just hyping the fight, he’s a very cool dude IRL.
He actually got caught pretty recently. He was supposed to fight JDS but there was a random test after a press conference in March.
No he didnt, not for steroids. He had elevated levels of testosterone…
he already gave chael multiple title shots after he tested positive for elevated test. The example has already been set sorry buddy
+1 lol yup…..
Samedi esti !!!!!!!!!!!!!
He had an elevated Testosterone level of 14:1. He didn’t test positive for ROIDS! He said it was from eating horse meat, which is no way possible! I do believe he used some sort of TRT but doubt he used any illegal type of Steroid.
Lol he never said he tested for elevated levels of testosterone because of horsemeat… He said it was because of a medicine he was using prescribed by his incompetent doctor. Sounds possible seeing as he doesnt use TRT (it would be public if he did) and didnt test positive for any type of steroid.
