Open Fighter Tryouts for The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil 2 on Oct 14 at Rio de Janerio
Today, UFC officials announced open fighter tryouts for “The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil 2″ is scheduled for Oct. 14 at Windsor Barra Hotel in Rio de Janeiro.
Hopefuls for “TUF: Brazil 2″ must be between the ages of 18 and 35 and have at least three verifiable professional fights, two of which must be victories. Applicants must also be be willing to remain in Rio de Janeiro through Oct. 17, as preliminary selections will immediately take part in medical examinations.
Fighters typically demonstrate their striking and grappling abilities to UFC President Dana White and matchmaker Joe Silva. Those who make it beyond the initial stage are interviewed by the show’s producers. Application is available on br.ufc.com. Fighters should check in beginning at 7 a.m. BRT local time.
The series is expected to debut in Brazil in early 2013. No word on who coaches will be.
