UFC On Fuel TV 2 Ratings Report

By Evan Stoumbelis:
197,000 people tuned in this past weekend to UFC on Fuel TV 2, where among others, Dennis Siver, Brian Stann, and Alexander Gustafsson emerged victorious. This is similar to the 217,000 viewers that watched UFC on Fuel TV 1, which set an all time prime time rating record for Fuel TV.
This event marked the end of the UFC’s 43 day hiatus, and aired just 7 days before UFC 145, during which Jon Jones will defend his Light-Heavyweight title against Rashad Evans.
The UFC struck a 7-year deal with Fox recently, which is the cause for many live events airing on FX and Fuel TV.
Below are the viewer numbers for the preliminary card and the main card from UFC on Fuel TV 1/2 in comparison to the viewer numbers for UFC on FX 1/2
UFC on FUEL TV 1 ratings (main card): 217,000 viewers
UFC on FUEL TV 2 ratings (main card): 197,000
UFC on FX 1 ratings (prelims): 148,000
UFC on FX 2 ratings (prelims): 113,000

Reality is that Spike TV had more viewers than Fox/FX/FuelTV. Well maybe so far. They just started with FOX. Like Dana says, “We’ll see what happens”
I cannot wait for Fuel TV to come to Comcast. I’m so sick of not being able to watch these cards, even if I’m willing to pay for them
