Nova Uniao Brings Another Fighter into the UFC

5’8″ 145lbs featherweight noted primarily for his methodical approach to grappling, Hacran Dias, signed a 3 fight contract with UFC witnessed by Sensei SporTV inspite rumors of being considered for a spot on the 1st Ultimate Fighter Brazil.
Nova Uniao’s head coach and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu instructor Andre Pederneiras has been training and working to get 27 year old Hacran into the UFC for a long time but on April 7, 2012 with cheers and under the lights and cameras Pederneiras handed Hacran the contract “I’m very happy with everything that’s happening to me.” states Hacran.
His notable training partners include Bellator’s veteran Marlon Sandro, Renan Barao, Johnny Eduardo, Luis Ramos and the current UFC Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo.
Hacran Dias has 9 wins via submission, 3 by TKO – via punches and the rest by decisions marking an outstanding record of 20-1-1.
