Nick Ring vs. Court McGee Rematch in the works for UFC 149

A middleweight rematch between Nick Ring and Court McGee is in the works for the UFC’s debut in Calgary, Alberta, Canada in July.
The two originally faced off during “The Ultimate Fighter 11” opening round and Ring was able to best the TUF champion before McGee took an injury slot as a replacement to win the whole show.
UFC 149 is set to take place from Calgary’s Scotiabank Saddledome on July 21. In the main event featherweight champion Jose Aldo is expected to defend his title against a yet to be named challenger.
Rink is a Calgary based fighter who will no doubt be looking to put on a show in front of his hometown crowd against McGee. He last saw action at UFC 135 where he picked up his first career defeat at the hands of rising middleweight Tim Boetsch.
Looking for a bit of redemption will be McGee. Court also finds himself coming off a loss in his most recent outing. He last saw action at UFC on FX 2 where he was outpointed by the always tough Constantinos Philippou.
