Nick Diaz tells his side of the UFC 137 ‘hotel’ story | UFC NEWS

As was reported Dana White told a story on the Jim Rome show about how Nick Diaz tried to fight Georges St. Pierre at a hotel after UFC 137. At the UFC 158 presser today Diaz was asked about this and gave his side of the story.

“First of all, I don’t think he had any business being there or maybe on my side of the hotel. In and out of the lobby, I’m gonna be working there, I’m gonna be in and out you know need be reasons. And I suppose you know at the time he’s coming out of an elevator, or something. And you know I stand my ground, and he’s gonna try and walk through me and you know he’s not gonna walk through me. I’m gonna stand there with a hard look on my face and he’s gonna edge his way against the wall to get by and that’s that. You know, that’s all that happened. (Turns towards GSP) Isn’t that what happened? That’s what happened bro.”

This of course got a rise out of GSP. The current UFC Welterweight champion responded simply:

“Do you really think I’m afraid of you? You think I’m afraid of you man, are you crazy in the head man? You’ll see Saturday if I’m scared of you.”

This fight gets better and better, Saturday March 16th cannot get here fast enough.

  1. Ddddddd says:

Hey Nick,I think this might be why Under armor thinks your a high liability.

  2. GRT 3000 says:

Diaz is a dumbass man…the dude’s got scraps – enough for the UFC, but he’s no champion. Champions have brains.

    • Yomama says:

Someone with brains would have watched the presser yesterday and figured out Diaz has brains. The simple man got mad and couldn’t speak, while the dumb guy owned him with taunts. BTW, listen closely, Diaz most likely has a more expansive vocabulary than yourself.

  3. Ronda Shite says:

    Agreed with Yomama :)

As of got bad news for you GRT 3000: “You suck you grandmother’s eggs and your plus you have no family , parents or siblings at all i’m afraid so your going down kid. Grow up and get a life kid.”
