Nick Diaz Admits That He Actually Likes GSP | UFC NEWS
“I like my opponent. That’s why I want to fight him. I don’t mean to say it like that, but he’s the number one guy to beat. That’s what you want. I’ve been wanting his spot. He’s got the spot. He’s the guy to beat. I like him just fine. I had no room to run my mouth and talk. I was promoting this fight. I got the fight I wanted. I can’t complain now. I like him just fine.”
A strangely happy and positive Nick Diaz showed up to yesterday’s UFC 158 press conference and when asked about his thoughts on GSP he humbly admitted that he liked him.

Yea too bad wat put that smile on his face will prolly cause him to fail a drug test. I like his fighting style but i would be surprised if diaz finds a way to lose this title shot before he even gets in the octagon.
Diaz likes GSP bc George fought to give Diaz this opportunity. If it wasnt’ for GSP requesting this fight Diaz would be fighting KOS or some other top 10 guy like Jake E. and a 2nd loss in a row sends u in the middle of nowhere in UFC. Just ask Mike Pierce and Rick Story

Diaz isn’t stupid. He is playing the UFC game-and getting paid. While fans ridicule him and talk stupid crap about Diaz, he is getting what he wants-a big payday. He is one of the less than 10% of UFC fighters who earn PPV money. A little talk goes a long way for Diaz. Imagine that: getting paid to talk crap! First and 4most he did NOT just run through Diaz, Carlos did the smartest thing by POINT fighting Diaz cause he didn’t want to get knocked out. Carlos talked all this shit about what he was gonna do and if you listen to Diaz after the fight, that’s what he spoke on how he said he would do this and that and ran from Diaz the whole fight getting the points he needed to win LOL. GSP will come in to fight just ask Carlos! Diaz by stoppage! <—- ^^

If you’re a professional at any sport (or in life), you would want to take on the harder challenge that will ultimately make you better. So you can hate Diaz as a person but respect him as a professional for taking on the harder challenge.
