Nate Diaz: ‘Dana & the UFC Are Full Of Sh!t’

UFC President Dana White hit Twitter this past Saturday claiming that “Nobody wants to fight Khabib”. Khabib Nurmagomedov is 5-0 in the UFC and undefeated in his professional MMA career.

Khabib was set to face former Strikeforce Champ Gilbert Melendez originally. That was until Melendez pulled out of the bout. Then a fan suggested Melendez’s training partner Nate Diaz as an opponent. Dana was quick to respond saying that Diaz turned down the fight. However, Nate Diaz quickly took to Twitter and responded that Dana was “full of shit”.

Diaz’s management has made statements that the reason Diaz did not take the fight is because the UFC refused to agree on specific conditions Diaz and his team asked for.

“We asked for Nate’s contract to be redone, the UFC turned it down,” Kogan said. “We asked for a change to his contract, and changes to when the fight takes place. They said no and we said no thanks.”

you must be joking, Diaz would fight him in a second. Nothing wrong with a fighter wanting a better deal more money or whatever. Too many fighters getting taken advantage of out there especially in mma. Mayweather is making 40 million a fight while mma fighters fight for chump change.

People are forgetting the -shit money- the UFC is paying Nate to fight.. $15,000 to show, $15,000 to win.. are you f**king kidding me? Do people realize how many UFC nobodies make more than this?

The guy is a top 5 lightweight with 19 UFC fights, a fan favorite and ‘shows’ as good as any. The real headline is how ridiculous Nate’s UFC contract is.
