Munoz Surprised Boetsch Got The Fight He Wanted Against Bisping
“It was surprising to me. I thought we were on a collision course. I know there are a lot of people in the general public that wanted us to fight. I would have loved to fight Bisping just because he’s a bigger name and I match up well with him. But hey, he’s fighting Boetsch and he’s got his hands full. That’s a real intriguing fight. We’ll see what happens.”
Apparently Mark Munoz thought he was next in-line for a crack at Michael Bisping. Instead the UFC opted to put the fast rising Tim Boetsch in his place.
But which is the better scrap?

Its obvious the UFC didn’t want Munoz to beat up their brit poster boy. Munoz would have prob KO’d Bisping and UFC knew it wasn’t worth the risk. No fighter has ever been more protected than Bisping. In Sonnen fight they knew Sonnens pillow hands stood no chance of KOing Bisping so they allowed fight to happen.
Vitor has begged the UFC for a fight with Bisping and always been denied. GEE I wonder why? No we will never see UFC make Bisping fight Weidman, Palharis, Munoz, Belcher, Rich Franklin, Vitor,

Munoz can be a bit “Chinny” & was lucky to get a decision against Maia .
That said he is a decent fighter & in my opinion a higher quality opponent than Boetsch .

Boetsch looked awful in the first 2 rounds of the Okami fight, Joe Rogan emphasised ‘the greatest comeback in UFC history’ because of the ridiculousness of what happened. Okami should have steam-rollered him. Boetsch is no-where near on the top 5 MW’s level. Boetsch counted on the ‘punchers chance’ against Okami, something you don’t get against Bisping.
Bisping haters will never change. He’s One of my favourite fighters. He is a top 5 mw. And is great to watch and always brings it. He will out class boetsch and put on a kickboxing clinic.
