Cat Zingano hasn’t seen action inside the octagon since April when she defeated Miesha Tate at the TUF 17 finale. After that Zingano was forced to forfeit her shot against Rousey and undergo knee surgery.

Now, a year, a knee surgery, and months of rehab later, “Alpha” Cat Zingano is giving fans a projected time table for her return.

Cat spoke on Inside MMA saying:
“I know Ronda had said something about fighting in the end of the summer and that sounds pretty good to me too.”

“When the time comes, I’m going to be ready. I feel strong. I’m definitely gonna come out ready to fight,”

However there have been rumors that WMMA legend Gina Carano may be stepping up to fight Rousey. As well as Cris Cyborg who now wants to make the cut to 135 to fight Rousey.

What do you think PENNation? Who do you want to see Rousey fight?
