Staying true to his word, UFC President Dana White has booked Yves Edwards a new fight and done so just five short days after his UFC on FX 5 opponent, Jeremy Stephens was jailed and forced out of last Fridays bout.

UFC officials have booked Yves opposite John Cholish on the UFC on FOX card set for Dec 8.

UFC on FOX 5 is set to go down from the KeyArena in Seattle, Washington on December 8. In the main event UFC lightweight champion, Benson Henderson will defend his title against Nate Diaz.

As previously noted, Yves was originally scheduled to face the now jailed Jeremy Stephens this past Friday.

Edwards has won four of his last six pro-fights. He last saw action against Tony Ferguson and lost.

Cholish entered the UFC on an eight-fight win streak. He made a successful promotional debut against Mitch Clarke but lost his last fight to Danny Castillo this past May.
