The top earners from last Saturday’s World Series of Fighting’s WSOF 9 event are new welterweight champion Rousimar Palhares and bantamweight Marlon Moraes, who both walked away with a cool $50,000 and a $25,000 win bonus.
Palhares, who was released from the UFC last October, was able to secure his signature leg lock on former champion Steve Carl to take the crown.
Moraes was able to dominate his opponent and, though he did not get the finish, was able to secure the victory.
Here is the payday list as given by the Nevada State Athletic Commission, which was responsible for over seeing the event. WSOF 9 took place at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV.
