The World Series of Fighting (WSOF), following WSOF 9, which aired last Saturday, has begun preparations for their summer schedule.
WSOF 10, scheduled for June 10th, will showcase two title bouts as Georgi Karakhanyan faces Rick Glenn for the featherweight championship. Meanwhile, David Branch will face off against Jesse Taylor for the inaugural middleweight title. The event is scheduled to take place at the Event Center at San Jose State University in San Jose, California.
WSOF 11 is scheduled to take place in July. Neither a date nor a venue have been selected for this event. Headlining the card is a title bout between Rousimar Palhares, who in his most recent bout, defeated Steve Carl via ankle lock to secure the title. He faces off against former UFC welterweight No. 1 contender Jon Fitch. Also on the card, lightweight champion Justin Gaethje puts his title on the line against Nick Newell. Tyrone Spong is also scheduled to appear on the card, however, his opponent has yet to be announced.
To end its summer tour, WSOF is scheduled to hit Japan for the first time ever for WSOF 12. The card is scheduled for August 2 and will most likely be featuring Yushin Okami facing off against the winner of Branch vs. Taylor.
