“I was dominating Carlos Condit, which is a hard thing to do. I surprised him with the leg kick. He wasn’t expecting it because he’s the leg kicker. So for me to go out there and chop his leg down … his knee got injured from getting taken down, from a great, timed double leg. It’s just a part of the game, like if I did an armbar and he doesn’t tap or I do a choke and he doesn’t tap. It’s a part of the game so it doesn’t take away from the victory for me because I was dominating the fight.”
In Saturday’s co-main event, Tyron Woodley walked away with a TKO victory over Carlos Condit.
It was a knee injury that halted the action and Woodley doesn’t think it matters.Carlos Condit, Condit vs. Woodley, Diego Sanchez vs. Myles Jury, Hector Lombard vs. Jake Shields, hendricks vs. lawler, johny hendricks, lawler vs. hendricks, robbie lawler, Tyron woodley, ufc 171, ufc results
