UFC president Dana White says the UFC has big plans for the future, including a trip to Cuba.
In an interview with Palm Beach Post, White talked about the UFC’s ever expanding process and says there are big plans in the works for other countries. When asked about the potential for Cuba White had this to say:
“Apparently, from what I’m hearing, there’s a lot of people training over there and a lot of interest. And obviously a lot of Cubans in Florida. Yoel Romero is Cuban and he’s fighting on the card.”
“We’re working on a card in Puerto Rico. We’re going everywhere. So yeah, eventually, Cuba.”
