Holly Holm executed the perfect gameplan at “UFC 193” and picked apart the heavy-favorite Ronda Rousey to become the new UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion. Bookies labeled Holm an underdog and very few fans actually gave her a chance, but Holm stuck by her team and training regiment and proved to the world that she truly was championship material.

Rousey tried her best to stand and bang with the boxing-champion, but it looked as if she bit off more than she could chew. Holm easily ducked and dodged most of Rousey’s significant shots and waited for the perfect moments to fire punches and kicks of her own. Holm mentioned she avoided throwing kicks to the body of Rousey so she couldn’t catch them and take the fight to the ground, so she targeted the head and it paid off wonderfully. Holm landed a fight-ending headkick in the second round of the championship fight to end Rousey’s night early. Watch Holm break down her masterful performance in the video above!

There is no doubt that Rousey will be first in line for a shot at Holm’s newly won championship. If Rousey wins the fight in dominant fashion, should the title be held up for a trilogy bout to decide who the best fighter in the division is, or would it create too much of a logjam?
