Wanderlei Silva wants to work with the Nevada Athletic Commission despite being banned by them

Despite former UFC star Wanderlei Silva’s numerous battles with the Nevada Athletic Commission, it seems like the “Axe Murderer” wants to still work with them to better the sport.

“This commission should have a professional athlete working there,” said Silva in a MMA Fighting report. “I am available to work together with the commission to create clear laws that give the athletes the proper respect. The athletes deserve more respect.”

Do you feel that professional athletes should be more involved in the various positions that oversee rules, regulations and judging in MMA?
