Vitor Belfort Officially Removed From UFC 175 Roster

Sorry Vitor fans, ‘The Phenom’ is back on the shelf following an announcement that his opponent, Chael Sonnen will be retiring.
The former title challenger was originally slated to face Chris Weidman for the UFC middleweight strap, but a licensing issue forced him off the card.
In a scramble to replace a vacant, Wanderlei Silva, the UFC opted for a Sonnen vs. Belfort fight at UFC 175 this July.
Sonnen retired last night, leaving Vitor without an opponent and according to reports the UFC will not seek a replacement.
