Uriah Hall Will Fight Gegard Mousasi On Short Notice Following Roan Carneiro Injury

Uriah Hall WINS

UFC middleweight Uriah Hall has agreed to take the biggest fight of his career on short notice.

He will step in for the injured Roan Carneiro and fight Gegard Mousasi at UFC Fight Night 73 on Sept. 27.

UFC.com announced the news on Wednesday. Hall has been a fan favorite ever since earning one of if not the greatest KO’s in not only TUF history but MMA history in general, with that spinning back kick.

Since then he has performed well and underperformed at times. But he is currently coming off of a KO over Oluwale Bambgbose on Aug. 8 and has won four of his past five.

Mousasi is of course the former Dream and Strikeforce champion and has two straight fights.

UFC Fight Night 73 will go down on Sept. 27 in Saitama, Japan.
