UFC's Chael Sonnen Waiting, But Still Not Officially Offered Title Shot Against Anderson Silva

“I have not even been offered the fight. I’ve read in the media that I’m going to have the fight. I’m telling people that I have the fight, but the reality is I’ve never been offered it.”

According to UFC middleweight number one contender Chael Sonnen, he has yet to be officially offered his rematch against champion, Anderson Silva.

The UFC has announced and told fans that this fight is a go for June in Brazil. Anderson Silva has already begun fielding questions about the rematch and as he states above, Chael is already talking about it too.

But why the hold up? The likely reasons are because either, A. The venue and city have yet to be firmed up, meaning an exact date is also in the air and/or B. the UFC is waiting for Anderson’s clean bill of health.
