The Ultimate Fighting Championship recently signed a 3-year TV deal with BT Sport, which is owned by BT Group, in the United Kingdom. The deal was signed Tuesday morning, according to the Daily Mirror.

The deal will offer comprehensive coverage of the UFC promotion with live events. BT will produce primetime magazine shows and programming that will aim to introduce the mixed martial arts sport to a new audience. Their plan is to produce similar coverage that FUEL TV has developed. The partnership hopes to reignite the MMA growth in the United Kingdom.

BT Sport is slated to launch in August with three channels. They will have two BT Sport channels and an ESPN channel. UFC programming is scheduled to start on August 3, according to the Daily Mirror.
