Following her UFC 193 KO win over Ronda Rousey, Holly Holm found herself under fire from critics for a new sponsorship deal with Hi-Tech, a company who sells products that are banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency.

Holm’s manager stated that Holm herself doesn’t use the products, but simply promotes them for the company.

Regardless, the UFC has now released a statement regarding the situation, which was obtained by MMAMania:

“Holly Holm is a great UFC champion and a role model for the sport of mixed martial arts. The UFC organization has not researched the company that is sponsoring Holm, and UFC does not condone any athlete that uses a substance on the World Anti-Doping Agency’s Prohibited List.”

Ahead of Holm’s UFC 197 title defense against Miesha Tate, do you think USADA will randomly test Holm more given her affiliation with this company?
