So this is common practice for the UFC, removing fighters from the rankings if they are suspended by the Nevada State Athletic Commission, or the UFC, for PED use. Still, it’s a big shocking not to see former middleweight champion Anderson Silva on the list.

The UFC updated their rankings shortly after Silva was suspended by the NSAC on Thursday, following long and bizarre hearing. They removed him completely, from the P4P list as well as the middleweight ranks.

Now, formerly the only champion not on the p4p list, Joanna Jedrzejczyk, has found herself in the no. 15 spot. Also, everyone who was below Silva on the middleweight rankings were moved up one space, which led to Tim Boetsch moving into the top 15.

What do you guys make of the whole Anderson Silva situation, do you think he’ll be back?
