UFC officials have booked a welterweight bout between Rory MacDonald and Che Mills for their return trip to Montreal in March.
UFC 145, while not yet officially announced by the promotion is expected to go down from Montreal’s Bell Centre on March 24.
MacDonald was originally set to face off with Brian Ebersole at this past weekend’s UFC 140; however an injury in training forced him out of the bout. The 22 year-old prospect was last seen taking out the always tough Mike Pyle this past August at UFC 133 in the very first round. The Canadian based fighter boasts an impressive 12-1 record with his only loss coming way of Carlos Condit back in June of 2010.
Mills last saw action at UFC 138 in his UFC debut. It took the British fighter just 40-seconds to TKO Chris Cope. The win marked his fifth straight which includes a notable victory over DREAM champ Marius Zaromskis.featured, MMA NEWS, Strikeforce, strikeforce news, ufc news
