UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos has yet to defend his title, but is already talking about going to a new division.

Dos Anjos talked on ‘The MMA Road Show‘ and said that after he defends his belt a few times he will go up to welterweight in order to have some super fights.

“I just got my lightweight belt. I’m looking forward to defending it a couple of times, then maybe I’ll do some fights in the welterweight division in the future.

“I think once I get older, I’m going to get tired of cutting weight. I could just go there and fight (at welterweight). I think that’s my goal. I’m going defend my belt a couple of times and maybe go to the welterweight division and do some superfights like Ben Henderson.”
