Daniel Kelly and Patrick Walsh slowed down the pace of tonight’s card with their lackluster middleweight bout. Patrick Walsh was six pounds overweight at the day of the weigh ins yesterday, so the tough weight cut may have had something to do with his performance tonight.

Even though he made weight, Daniel Kelly grew fatigued late in the first round which hindered his performance as well. Both fighters’ mouthpieces flew out of their mouths in the first, which gave the viewer a sample of what they were in for for the next ten minutes. The crowd voiced their disapproval multiple times.

Kelly started to pick up the pace in the final round where he locked up another round for the unanimous decision victory.

Daniel Kelly def. Patrick Walsh by way of Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 30-27)
