‘UFC FN 42’ Results: Caraway Forces Perez to Submit in Round 2

June 7, 2014 7:28 pm by Jonathan Kirschner

Erik Perez did an amazing job at picking Bryan Caraway apart with his boxing skills in the first round. Despite finding success with his hands, Perez often tried to land head kicks to score a flashy knockout win. Most of them missed and it left him

Bryan Caraway walked to the middle of the octagon looking exhausted, but he pushed through it and persevered. Perez shot for a takedown and Caraway quickly reversed it, ending up on top. He transitioned at will and it was not long before Perez gave up his back. Caraway locked in the figure-four across the stomach of Perez and secured the rear naked choke. Perez tried to peel his opponent’s clasped hands apart, but he realized he was trapped. Perez tapped out and Caraway walked away with the win.
