By BJPENN.COM News - December 18, 2013

A pair of middleweight matches has been added to the UFC’s March trip to London.

Luke Barnatt vs. Mats Nilsson and Brit Brad Scott vs. Claudio Henrique da Silva have been booked for the event’s preliminary card.

‘UFC Fight Night London: Gustafsson vs. Manuwa’ is going down on March 8th from London’s O2 Arena. In the main event Alexander Gustafsson will attempt to retain his number one contender status with a win over the very tough U.K. local, Jimi Manuwa.

TUF 17 veteran Barnatt will look to stay unbeaten in his UFC career. The British fighter last saw action on October’s Fight Night 30 card where he successfully beat Andrew Craig in the second round via submission.

Nilsson is another European fighter coming in on the heels of an impressive win. The Cage Warriors veteran last saw action in September where he stopped Denniston Sutherland in the second round via TKO.

Scott is a ‘TUF Smashes’ veteran who notched his first UFC Win at Fight Night 30 when he submitted Michael Kuiper in the first round of action.

Facing Scott, Da Silva brings a nine-fight win streak into his UFC debut. Having not lost since his pro-debut in 2007, the Brazilian fighter last saw action besting UFC veteran Zavier Foupa-Pokam to earn his shot inside the Octafgon.

With the addition of these four combatants, the UFC Fight Night London card is shaping up as follows:

Alexander Gustafsson vs. Jimi Manuwa
Melvin Guillard vs. Ross Pearson
Ian McCall vs. Brad Pickett
Cyrille Diabate vs. Ilir Latifi
Omari Akhmedov vs. Gunnar Nelson
Igor Araujo vs. Danny Mitchell
Luke Barnatt vs. Mats Nilsson
Brad Scott vs. Claudio Henrique da Silva
