Scott WINS

UFC Fight Night 65 kept on rolling with middleweights Dylan Andrews vs. Bradley Scott.

Scott came out firing. Andrews landed a nice counter early, then looked for a takedown. Scott defended it and pushed Andrews to the cage in the clinch.

Andrews landed a huge uppercut that stunned Scott. Scott immediately looked to get the fight to the ground. He was unable to and instead settled for a clinch on the cage. Scott kept busy with short punches in the clinch. Scott put Andrews in the thai clinch and Andrews landed a big punch to the side of Scott’s head that dropped him. Scott got back up quickly but Andrews kept the pressure on and eventually locked in a guillotine.

That submission didn’t last and Scott got back to his feet, pushing Andrews on the cage. Scott worked in the thai clinch again and landed knees, but Andrews was able to land shots to Scott’s body too. The round ended with Andrews getting a last second takedown.

Both fighters came out in the second looking to land their jabs. Scott landed a huge combo but Andrews kept coming. Scott just missed with a big uppercut, then ate a big combo from Andrews. The fight was stopped because Andrews touched his eye like he got poked. The replay showed it was punch not a finger. The fight continued and Scott got the fight to the ground. Working in half-guard Scott looked to land short elbows and attempted to improved his position. Scott landed a few huge short elbows that opened up a guillotine. He locked up the mounted guillotine and eventually forced Andrews to tap.

RESULTS: Bradley Scott wins via submission (guillotine)at 4:54 of round 2.
