UFC Fight Night 51 Picks Up Four Bouts

UFC Fight Night 51, which takes place in Brazil has picked up four bouts as of today.

Lukasz Sajewski (13-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) vs. Leonardo Santos (12-3-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC)
Sergio Moraes (8-2 MMA, 2-1 UFC) vs. Santiago Ponzinibbio (18-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC)
Mike Rhodes (6-3 MMA, 0-2 UFC) vs. Paulo Thiago (15-7 MMA, 5-7 UFC)
Igor Araujo (25-6 MMA, 2-0 UFC) vs. George Sullivan (15-3 MMA, 1-0 UFC).

Lukasz Sajewski will be making his UFC debut on the card, and carries an undefeated record of 13 wins into his debut bout.

Leonardo Santos on the other hand was the winner of TUF 2 Brazil, and is coming off a majority draw against Norman Parke back in March.

Sergio Moares, also a TUF Brazil alumni, reached the semifinals before losing. He is coming off back to back submission wins against Renee Forte and Neil Magny.

Santiago Ponzinibbio, another TUF Brazil semifinalist is coming off a loss in his UFC debut that ended his 7-fight winning streak under other promotional banners.

Mike Rhodes unsuccessfully made his UFC debut back in January against George Sullivan. In his return to the Octagon last month he dropped a decision to Robert Whittaker.

Paulo Thiago, a veteran of 12 UFC fights, is just 1-4 in his last 5, and will be looking to snap a two-fight losing streak in his bout against Rhodes.

Igor Araujo is riding a 6-fight win streak into his bout against George Sullivan. Two of those wins come under the UFC banner, with the most recent being a win over Danny Mitchell in March of this year.

George Sullivan rides a 7-fight win streak into this bout, including a win over Mike Rhodes who will also be on the card. Of those 7 wins, 5 come by way of TKO/KO

UFC Fight Night 51 takes place September 13th in Brazil.
