August 16, 2014 7:56 pm by Jake Chastain

The two started off by feeling each other out before Jordan finally landed a nice strike a minute in to the fight. May had the reach advantage but could not catch Jordan early on. May finally landed some nice counter strikes that cut Jordan slightly over the left eye. Jordan continued to try to keep the distance and close in quickly with a barrage but nothing landed cleanly. May landed some good leg kicks before Jordan scored a takedown with less than a minute left in the round, but nothing landed with big impact.

The second round started off much like the 1st until May landed a nice hook that cut Jordan over his right eye. Shortly after May landed another huge hook and rocked Jordan. He pressed the pace and forced Jordan against the cage. Jordan swung back and then clinched and took May to the ground with a takedown. From there Jordan controlled the position and landed some solid shots and then briefly took the mount on May. May scrambled out but remained underneath Jordan. Jordan took the mount once again and ended the round in that position.

The third round began and as May came in for a combination Jordan hit a blast-double and took him down once again. From there ┬áJordan quickly took May’s back and started teeing off on him, eventually earning the stoppage at 2:03 in the 3rd round.
