December’s UFC Fight Night 33 just added a middleweight bout.
Caio Magalhaes (6-1) vs. Nick Ring (13-2) is the latest fight to the card, UFC officials recently announced
UFC Fight Night 33 takes place Dec. 7 in the Queensland capital at Brisbane Entertainment Centre. The event is expected to air on FOX Sports 1 or FOX Sports 2. Because of the time difference, the event takes place Saturday, Dec. 7, in Australia but airs Friday, Dec. 6, in the U.S.
Magalhaes made his UFC debut in 2012 after a 5-0 start. The Brazilian then suffered a unanimous-decision loss to Buddy Roberts in his UFC debut. After an injury sidelined him for a full year, he returned in June to earn a submission victory over Karlos Vemola at UFC on FUEL TV 10.
Ring hopes to rebound from a split-decision loss to Chris Camozzi at UFC 158. Prior that, the “TUF 11” alum posted a 13-1 record with that lone defeat coming by decision to Tim Boetsch.
The latest UFC Fight Night 33 lineup now includes:
Mark Hunt vs. Antonio Silva
Mauricio Rua vs. James Te Huna
Ryan Bader vs. Anthony Perosh
Pat Barry vs. Soa Palelei
Dylan Andrews vs. Clint Hester
Caio Magalhaes vs. Nick Ring
