UFC Fight Night 30 Medical Suspensions: two fighters could be out six months | UFC NEWS

UFC Fight Night 30, featuring Mark Munoz and Lyoto Machida as the main event, took place October 26 in Manchester, England. It appears that all 24 fighters on the card have received at least a seven-day suspension. 12 fighters received 30 day suspensions with 21 days no contact.

There are three fighters who received longer suspensions. Jimi Manuwa* is suspended 180 days, unless he is cleared by a doctor before then. That’s apparently due to an injury to his left hand. Ryan Jimmo*, who lost to Manuwa via TKO/injury, received the 30 day suspension with 21 days of no contact and 180 days unless he is cleared by a doctor. Jimmo’s injury was to his left ankle, which was apparent at the end of the fight when he fell to the canvas.

Another notable suspension is that of Rosi Sexton*. After her loss to Jessica Andrade, in which she took an extreme amount of punishment, Sexton was issued a suspension of 90 days with 60 days no contact.
