The UFC has added two middleweight bouts to the UFC Fight Night 30 card. Luke Barnatt will take on Andrew Craig, and Michael Kuiper will fight Brad Scott, UFC officials announced Thursday.
UFC Fight Night 30 takes place at the Manchester Arena in England on October 26. This will mark the UFC’s 14th event in the United Kingdom, and its third event in Manchester.
Luke Barnatt and Brad Scott both fight out of the U.K., which will certainly draw the hometown crowd to the Manchester Arena on the night of the 26.
Luke Barnatt (6-0) is coming off a unanimous decision win over Collin Hart in his UFC debut at “The Ultimate Fighter 17” finale in April. He will face Texas fighter, Andrew Craig (9-1), who is coming off a split decision win over Chris Leben at UFC 162. Craig holds a UFC record of 3-1.
Brad Scott (8-2) was a finalist on “The Ultimate Fighter: The Smashes,” which featured Australian and English teams, losing in the finals by a unanimous decision to Robert Whittaker. He will face Dutch fighter, Michael Kuiper (12-2), who is coming off a submission loss to Tom Lawlor at UFC on Fuel TV 9. Kuiper holds a 1-2 UFC record.
UFC Fight Night 30 will be headlined by a middleweight matchup between Michael Bisping and Mark Munoz. It will be broadcast on FOX Sports 2. The UFC has not announced bout order as of yet.
