UFC Fight Night 28 Gets Two New Bouts

By BJPENN.COM News - July 23, 2013

UFC Fight Night 28 just got its 11th and 12th fight booking on the September events lineup.

A lightweight bout between Piotr Hallman and Francisco Trinaldo as well as a welterweight bout between Kenny Robertson and Joao Zeferino are the two most recent bookings that likely round out the full fight card.

‘UFC FIght Night 28: Teixeira vs. Bader’ is set to go down from the Estadio Jornalista Felipe Drumond in Belo Horizonte, Brazil on September 4th live and free on Fox Sports 1.

Hallman is a 25-year-old Polish fighter, making his UFC debut riding high on a nine-fight winning streak. His opponent, Trinaldo, is a TUF Brazil contestant looking for his third straight win inside the UFC’s Octagon.

Zeferino last saw action taking on Rafael Natal in a short notice bout at middleweight. The booking gave him his shot in the UFC, but snapped a seven-fight win streak and forced him to fight out of his weight class for a decision loss. He now returns to the welterweight division against a man in much need of a win. Roberston has only notched one victory in his four UFC contests most recently losing at UFC 161 to Sean Pierson.

While UFC officials have yet to confirm the full bout order and lineup of UFC Fight Night 28, the following is what we have confirmed thus far and what is likely the full event:
