The UFC has added a featherweight bout between Felipe Arantes and Kevin Souza to the fight card for next month’s UFC Fight Night 28. The bout between these two Brazilian fighters will be featured in the preliminary bouts, and it will stream live on Facebook.
Felipe Arantes’ (15-5-1) start in the UFC has been bumpy, as he went 1-1-1 in his first three fights. Coming into this fight, however, the native of Sao Paulo, Brazil is riding a first-round TKO victory over Godofredo Castro.
Kevin Souza (13-3) will be making his UFC debut at Fight Night 28, replacing Arantes’ original opponent, Sam Sicilia. He is entering the organization with 7 consecutive wins and all 13 of his wins coming by way of stoppage (12 by KO/TKO).
UFC Fight Night 28 takes place at the Estadio Jornalista Felipe Drumond in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil. The main card, featuring bouts between Ryan Bader-Glover Teixeira and Yushin Okami-‘Jacare’ Souza, will air on FOX Sports 1. The preliminary cards will stream on Facebook.Tags: Felipe Arantes, kevin souza, mma, MMA NEWS, ufc, ufc fight night, UFC Fight Night 28, ufc news
