Roan Jucao Carneiro

It was ‘The Filipino Wrecking Machine’ vs. ‘Jucao’ when UFC middleweights Mark Munoz met Roan Carneiro in the featured fight of the FOX Sports 1 broadcast for UFC 184.

Carneiro entered the octagon on a 5 fight win streak after being out of the UFC for six years. Munoz came in having lost 3 of his last 4 fights.

Both fighters looked to be feeling each other out at the start of the fight. Fighters eventually clinched and Carneiro tried to lock up a choke. Munoz was able to get out of that but found himself in a worse position, with Carneiro on his back looking for a rear naked choke. Carmeiro locked it up almost immediately and Munoz went to sleep.

Results: Carneiro wins via submission (RNC) at 1:40 of round 1.
