Fight of the Night: Henry Briones vs. Guido Cannetti
It is rare that preliminary fighters take home bonus money, but Cannetti and Briones both deserved it with their performance on UFC Fight Pass. Briones was close to being stopped in the opening round as he took two serious body shots from Cannetti. However, be persevered and pushed through the pain to take home the victory by way of submission.

Performance of the Night: Kelvin Gastelum
Kelvin Gastelum got a lot of heat from fans when he beat favorite Uriah Hall in the finals of the “Ultimate Fighter” tournament, but he has slowly proving to fans and media members alike that his win was not a fluke. He picked up a dominant victory over Jake Ellenberger tonight in the very first round. Just when it seemed like things were favoring Ellenberger, Gastelum turned the tables and ended up on the favorable end of the scramble. Gastelum swiftly transitioned to back mount and put Ellenberger away with a powerful rear naked choke.

Performance of the Night: Fabricio Werdum
All signs were pointing towards a Mark Hunt knockout victory for the entire first round of his fight with Fabricio Werdum. Walking into the octagon, nobody thought Werdum would win by way of knockout. However, he shut the naysayers up and executed what seemed to be one of the most brutal knockouts of the night between Bellator, UFC AND WSOF! With about three feet between them, Werdum lunged forward and planted his knee into the head of Hunt. Hunt did not see the shot coming and therefor, it went unblocked. Hunt dropped like a ton of bricks and Werdum jumped on him to make sure he did not recover.
