UFC 179 Picks Up Two More Bouts

UFC 179 has picked up two new bouts, that include Beneil Dariush vs. Alan Patrick, and Yan Cabral vs. Naoyuki Kotani.

Dariush is coming off a submission win over Torry Martin back in August at UFC Fight Night: Henderson vs. Dos Anjos. Prior to that he dropped a TKO loss to Ramsey Nijem, and won his UFC debut against Charlie Brenneman.

His opponent, Alan Patrick on the other hand is 2-0 in his UFC career, and 12-0 in his professional MMA career. His last win came over John Makdessi at UFC 169 in February.

In the second announced bout, Yan Cabral, who is 1-1 in the UFC, will look to bounce back from a decision loss to Zak Cummings back in May.

His opponent Naoyuki Kotani is in his second stint with the UFC, he dropped his decision to Norman Parke via TKO at UFC Dublin in July.

The full lineup for UFC 179 is currently as follows:
