UFC 171’s Carlos Condit: ‘Woodley is still fairly green to this sport’

By BJPENN.COM News - February 17, 2014

“Woodley is a great wrestler. He’s a very accomplished amateur wrestler and he’s transitioning into a great mixed martial artist. He has a lot of depth with his wrestling skills. He’s very good at a few things, but he’s still fairly green to this sport. Those things he does well are still extremely dangerous.”

At UFC 171 the world’s best active welterweights will collide, in one night, to re-start the 170-pound ranks that the former champ, GSP, left behind.

On that docket is a pivotal matchup between former interim-champ, Carlos Condit and top Contender, Tyron Woodley.

In a recent interview with BleacherReport.com, Condit praised his upcoming opponent, but notes that he’s still young in his MMA Career.

UFC 171 goes down next month from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.
