UFC 163 Weigh-In Results: One Fighter Misses Mark on First Attempt

| Tomorrow (August 3rd) Jose Aldo will place his UFC featherweight title on the line against “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung in the main event of UFC 163 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. All fighters scheduled to perform tomorrow night hit the scales today (August 2nd) for the weigh-ins.

All fighters, with the exception of one, hit their marks and made their contracted weights. The unlucky fighter that missed his first attempt by three pounds was flyweight John Lineker, who weighed in at 129 pounds. He was granted two hours following his first attempt to make the weight of 126 pounds.

Champion Jose Aldo and Title Contender Chan Sung Jung both weighed in at 145 pounds for their title fight and both co-main event light heavyweights, Phil Davis and Lyoto Machida, made their 205 pound marks as well.
