“UFC 137: St-Pierre vs. Condit” is now two weeks away and we gained word today that the weigh-ins for the event are set to take place the day before, on Friday, October 28th, at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. The same venue will also play host to the following night’s pay-per-view event, which will be headlined by the welterweight title fight between current champion Georges St-Pierre and former WEC champion Carlos Condit. The co-main event will also see two former champions square off as “The Prodigy” BJ Penn will take on Nick Diaz in a highly-anticipated welterweight tilt. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. In short, the night promises not to disappoint the Vegas crowd and the MMA fans across the globe.
Additionally, former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir will host the Q&A session for UFC Fight Club members prior to the weigh-ins on Friday night. Doors to Friday night’s festivities open to members of the UFC Fight Club at 4 p.m. ET (1 p.m. PT local time). An autograph session for the general public will begin at 4 p.m. ET (fighters not yet announced) and Mir will begin his Q&A session at 5 p.m. ET (2 p.m. PT local time).
