Justin Lawrence vs. John Cofer

Round 1: Lawrence throws a kick to the body, but Cofer walks through it and takes the fight to the mat. After an attempted armbar by Lawrence, Cofer decides to pull away and bring the fight back to the feet. The fighters exchange punches for the rest of the round, with Lawrence seeming to land the better strikes.

Round 2: Cofer presses forward but is getting tagged by punches from Lawrence. Lawrence lands a head kick causing Cofer to shoot in for a takedown. Lawrence shrugs him off and continues to pepper him with punches. Lawrence misses an attempted spinning back kick, enabling Cofer to suplex him to the mat. Cofer looks to take Lawrence’s back but Justin escapes and gets back to his feet.

Max Holloway vs. Pat Schilling

Round 1: Schilling opens with some jabs before Holloway counters with a high kick. Schilling tries to get the fight to the ground but is not successful with any of his takedown attempts. Holloway uses his range to put together various combinations. Holloway remains the busier fighter and seems to be very comfortable to end round 1.

Round 2: Holloway starts round two with more punches, causing Schilling to attempt another takedown. But Pat just can’t seem to get the fight to the ground. Holloway lands a big right to the chin of Schilling, resulting in Pat falling to the floor. Max has no interest in the ground and Schilling is forced to his feet. Holloway lands some big elbows and then a knee, dropping Pat back to the canvas. He follows up with punches (some late) to end the round.

Round 3: Between rounds, Schilling tells his corner that his right shoulder is hurt. Holloway continues to pick him apart using his distance. Holloway’s jab is landing consistently and he begins to showboat. Final minute sees Holloway attempt a “showtime kick” off the cage but it misses. Never the less, it was all Max in this one.

Chiesa gets the right arm under the chin, and locks in the choke. Iaquinta refuses to tap, and goes to sleep. Great finish to an incredible story for Chiesa, who lost his father at start of the season.

Stalemate until the final minute when Kampmann finally works his way back to his feet. He attempts a takedown but is unsuccessful.
