Let’s all take a moment and remember one of the greatest things to ever happen in an MMA fight, period.

The Showtime Kick.

I mean just try to think of something that was better than that. Sure, Anderson Silva’s front kick to Vitor Belfort, but no, not even that can compare to the craziness that is the Showtime Kick. Have we ever seen anything remotely like that or sort of like that since, where some one jumps off of the cage and lands a perfectly placed strike that puts their opponent down.

Not to mention the fact that it happened in the fifth round of a great lightweight title fight, the final in WEC, between to fighters who would go on to be UFC champs.

It’s simply the best!
