UFC adds 3 bouts to UFC on FX 5 taking place Oct. 5 at Target Center in Minneapolis.
Josh Neer faces Justin Edwards in a welterweight bout. Neer was on a 6 fight win streak until his recent KO loss to Mike Pyle. Edwards comes back to fight after recently losing to John Maguire. Both Neer and Edwards are fighting to rebound from recent losses in this upcoming event.
Jiu Jitsu practitioner, Carlo Prater meets skilled wrestler, Marcus LeVesseur Prater in May dropped a unanimous decision to T.J. Grant breaking his 5 fight win streak. LeVesseur was submitted by Cody McKenzie‘s famed guillotine choke in his UFC debut. That loss ended a 3 fight streak, as well as 10 wins in his previous 12.
Darren Uyenoyama makes his UFC flyweight debut opposite Louis Gaudinot, as both fighters clash after earning those “W”s. Uyenoyama recently beat Norifumi Yamamoto in November 2011, while Gaudinot won a guillotine choke submission against John Linekerr in May.
